Downtime Is not an Option at Anexio

The doctors and staff at the busy medical office didn’t know it, but their computer network’s server was dangerously low on data storage space.

At Anexio’s Network Operations Center the technician monitoring the server noted the alert, quickly analyzed the business’s storage trends, and sent the client a heads-up and an estimate for adding storage before the server reached its limit. With more space to store data, the medical practice continued to operate seamlessly, without costly down-time.

“When down-time is not an option, your business needs Anexio,” says Michelle Nelson, CEO and managing partner at the 12-year-old Sarasota company, which provides new media and managed technology services. “The old paradigm of fixing broken technology is obsolete. Today, the goal is to identify risk and prevent problems to help our clients avoid lost productivity.” To that end, Anexio invested in a rigorous certification program to become the world’s 44th “managed service” provider accredited by the Managed Service Alliance, a standard-setting organization for the technology industry.

Anexio is the only company on Florida’s West Coast to have earned the elite designation, which requires an extensive written examination and site inspection. In the technology business, “managed services” means completely covering a client’s technology needs, whether voice or data, with monitoring, prevention and when necessary, trouble-shooting, for a fixed monthly fee. At Anexio, technicians monitor clients’ network servers, individual PCs, phone systems, and even printers and copiers, from a secure Network Operations Center in Sarasota’s Rosemary District. The company provides detailed, but easy-to-understand reports that executives can use to measure returns on their technology investments.
