SHRAY BRONZE - American Master Sculptor
American Master Sculptor, Shray, asked Anexio to create a website that would capture the essence of her sculpture. Regarded by many as "one of the best contemporary sculptors of our time," the San Francisco artist requested that the site portray her own sensibilities and personality, as well as showcase her art.
Shray, a prolific artist whose work is collected throughout the nation and the world, wished greater visibility for her sculpture. And, because she is constantly creating new works, she asked that Anexio build a custom content management system to allow her to easily update the site herself.
The Anexio New Media Team feels that the success of this website is due, in large part, to the time we spent developing an understanding of the artist's sensibilities and aesthetic vision.
PRESS RELEASE: Olympic Bronze Sculptor Shray Garners Highest Rating for 2008 Beijing Olympics Sculpture Contest : The organizing committee of the Bejing 2008 Olympic Landscape Design Contest, chaired by Mr. Yuan XiKun, invited bronze sculptor Shray to participate in the contest. Her sculpture has garnered the prestigious “Excellent Works” distinction. The Games will be held in Beijing, China and feature a sculpture exhibition that will travel to select cities throughout China and the world.
