Galleria Silecchia is a world-class contemporary fine art gallery located in Sarasota, Florida on historic Palm Avenue in the heart of the Arts and Theatre District. The gallery offers original works by some of the world’s finest contemporary painters, sculptors, glass artists and ceramicists.

We were asked to design a site which would

Showcase the artists and sculptors represented by the gallery
Include a high level of scalability to accommodate the
expected growth and changes in the gallery
Project a clean, welcoming appearance that their target
audience would be comfortable with
Encourage visitors to:

Communicate with the gallery through various methods
Easily explore artwork throughout the website
Sign up for the gallery newsletter
Forward page URL's to their friends
Return often

It was important the site design not detract from the artworks being exhibited. To this end we made use of a neutral color scheme and an understated design that did not visually compete with the work.
