Change in Data Processing Approaches
Technologies such as virtual reality are expected to increase in the 5G era and these will demand massive amounts of data to be processed in as near real-time as possible. With current technologies, the possibility of lags in this kind of data processing is very likely. 5G data networks, however, will make it possible for this to happen. Data centers will have to adapt to be able to send data to towers near the user so as to reduce the lag between when the user demands the data and when the data is processed by the user’s device.
